Meet Dr. Onni Franco

Dr. Franco is a South Florida native, born in Coral Springs and raised in Plantation. After completing his bachelor’s degree in biomedical sciences with honors from the University of Central Florida, he went on to graduate from the University of Florida College of Dentistry. Dr. Franco’s passion for orthodontics led him to pursue additional education at his #1 school of choice, the University of Tennessee Health Science Center, where he completed an extra three years of education to become an orthodontist.

Dr. Franco received the William S. Krammer award which recognizes one individual who has demonstrated scholarship, character, and the promise for advancement of dentistry and service to humanity, nominated by his fellow peers and attendees. He was later inducted into the prestigious national dental honor society, Omicron Kappa Upsilon after graduating top of his class. Dr. Franco is committed to encouraging positive change in all his patients and takes great pleasure in making connections with each and every one of them. Dr. Franco prioritizes staying up to date with the latest advances in his field and completes over 100 hours of continuing education yearly to ensure that he can provide the highest level of care possible for his patients.

In his free time, he enjoys spending quality time with his wife, Eden, and his family. He enjoys trying different coffee shops around town. He also enjoys paying it forward by educating thousands of dental students and young dentists with education through his podcast, Dental Student Podcast, which is ranked in the top 1% of all podcasts in the world.
